It’s an end of an era … today we removed all the fax machines from our offices. Now, we can still send and receive faxes, but via computer, or "efax." As you know, most people are now emailing instead of faxing.
I remember first using the fax machine going back to the very late 1980s. Back then it changed how we did business. This is before email became popular. I could send by fax a contract, or other document to someone in a different part of the country, and it was there within a minute! Before faxing we had to mail documents and wait for it to arrive a few days later.
Wonder what may be next to go? Or better yet, what is coming?
