LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - University of Kansas defensive end D.J. Marshall has informed the team that he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Marshall released a statement through the university Thursday vowing to defeat the disease and be back on the football field. The red-shirt freshman will undergo more tests before doctors decide on a treatment. Team physician Larry Magee says Marshall's prognosis for a full recovery is good. Coach Mark Mangino says Marshall will remain with the team during this weekend's game with Kansas State.
