Teenagers Dressed Like Cops Arrested

Two men say they were harrassed in downtown Wichita by three teeange boys claiming to be law enforcement officers.

A 56-year-old homeless man and a 20-year-old man say it happened at about 2:00 a.m. Wednesday near Douglas & Waco. Two of the teens were wearing t-shirts with the word "sheriff" on the front.

The teenagers were equipped with law-enforcement gear, including a police-type expandable baton, and two-way radios. The suspects also reportedly had badges and handcuffs.

Other homeless men told police officers that this was probably not the first time that these two suspects had harrassed victims down by the Arkansas River.

Police arrested a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old; a third suspect got away.]
