Fire Chief Says Grass Fire was No Accident



BUTLER COUNTY, Kan. - Butler County firefighters say a grass fire may not have been caused by weather.

Firefighters responded to the small fire near 220th Street and SW Butler Road around 5 p.m. Saturday.

When firefighters arrived, several nearby abandoned buildings were also on fire.

The Butler County Fire Chief said no one was hurt and the fire was man made.

Fire officials will determine if the fire was arson.
