Wichita Minister in Induced Coma Following Moped Accident
WICHITA, Kan. - A Wichita prison minister is in an induced coma after being hit by a pickup truck while riding his moped.
The crash happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of South Seneca, north of Pawnee. Wichita Police said a moped was southbound when it was hit by a northbound pickup truck that turned left in front of it.
Raymond Clay, 60, just bought his new moped an hour before the accident Another moped had recently been stolen.
Clay is a minister at the El Dorado Correctional Facility.
