WIICHITA, Kan. - Serg. Jeff Davis reported that police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Friday night a a Braums in northeast Wichita. It happened at around 10:00 p.m. in the 3600 block of North Rock Road.
Police say customers inside heard gunshots and glass breaking. Braum's patrons got down on the ground and others took cover in the restrooms.
There were 21 people in the business when shots rang out, but none were hurt.
Witnesses told officers a black party bus with lots of kids in it was nearby at the time of the incident, but police said they are still investigating whether it was involved. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
