WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State University Coach Gregg Marshall is in the Final Four in the "Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge." He is competing to win $100,000 for the Wichita Children's Home.
"They have been very generous to us," said Sarah Robinson, CEO of the Wichita Children's Home. She recalls that the Marshall family has been helping them for years.
Currently, Marshall is one of four men left in the final round of the Charity Challenge. The winner will get $100,000 for their favorite charity.
"He really wants to win 'cause he's not a loser and he also knows how important those financial dollars would be to these kids," said Debbie Kennedy, WSU Alumni Association executive director and Wichita Children's Home Board of Trustees president.
For ten weeks, the nation's top coaches have been counting on their fans to vote for their favorite charity.
Coach Marshall is asking people to "vote angry" every day until March 16th.
