(LOS ANGELES) -- After receiving a lot of backlash for her dramatic weight loss, Rachel Frederickson, the latest winner of The Biggest Loser, admits she may have gone too far in dropping 155 pounds in order to win the 15th season of NBC series.
"Maybe I was a little too enthusiastic in my training to get to the finale," the 24-year-old voice artist told People magazine.
Frederickson said a 1,600-calorie daily diet along with working out six hours a day in the three months before the finale helped her get down to 105 pounds.
Her trainer, Dolvett Quince, told the magazine he was stunned by her post-weight loss appearance.
"The first thing that went through my mind was, 'That's just too much,'" he said.
Frederickson, who won $250,000 for slimming down, denied she had an eating disorder when asked.
"I am very, very healthy," she replied.
Producers of The Biggest Loser have stood by Frederickson. Executive producer Dave Broome told People magazine, "Rachel passed all the required medical tests ensuring she was healthy."
