(SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.) -- Police are investigating a series of tire slashings that occurred in a Southborough, Mass., parking lot during the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
And it shouldn’t be hard to track down the man witnesses say is responsible. He’s described as a 300-pound, one-legged man driving an “ice cream-style” truck.
Oh, did we mention he’s 6’8”?
According to a Southborough police report, officers were called to Owen O'Leary's Restaurant and Pub at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday after a man who was refused service was spotted slashing tires in the restaurant’s parking lot.
Police said the suspect, a white male with a southern accent, left the scene in a "large, blue, ice cream-style truck" after allegedly slashing the tires of at least seven cars.
Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect or his vehicle.
Phone messages left with the Southborough Police Department were not immediately returned.
Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Sean McCarthy at (508) 485-2121.
