(WASHINGTON) -- Jobless claims continued to fall during the second week of January, the Labor Department reported on Thursday.
For the week ending Jan. 11, the number of people filing for benefits dropped by 2,000 to 326,000. The previous week, claims stood at 328,000 -- a downward revision of 2,000.
The four-week average also went down, decreasing by 13,500 to 335,000.
