WICHITA, Kan. - A second person has been arrested in an area child sex trafficking case. Jocelyn Hernandez-Cartagena, 21, is set for sentencing in district court after being convicted of human trafficking in November. Jaylyn Bradley, 21, will be in court later this month for his role in the crime.
KAKE News reports that according to court documents, the pair recruited a 17-year-old girl, and then forced her to engage in forced labor, involuntary servitude or sexual gratification of the defendant or another person. The crimes allegedly happened between March 3rd of last year and April 8th.
In many similar cases police say the suspects look for young girls on social media sites. They will work to turn them into prostitutes and collect the money they make.
