Police Say South Wichita Traffic Stop Was Legit

WICHITA - On Monday evening, a 26-year-old woman filed a police report; she says her vehicle was pulled over in the 3500 block of S. Seneca.
She says the man who pulled her over presented himself as a police officer, but she had concerns that he was not.
Wichita police Lt. Doug Nolte said it took a few days to track down, but it was eventually determined that the traffic stop was indeed made by a Sedgwick County sheriff's deputy in an unmarked vehicle.
This is the second time this year a citizen became concerned after being stopped by a Sedgwick County deputy in an unmarked patrol car.
