WICHITA, Kan. - An investigation is undersway following an incident at a south Wichita Club late Saturday night.
Police say around 11:00 p.m. an employee of Club G, in the 200 block of West Harry, reported a manhad been in the club making racial slurs. The reporting party said when he told the man to leave the man hit him "punched him in the mouth" and he struck the man
back, twice in the face and then called 9-1-1.
Responding officers were unable to locate the man. Police say a 33 year old man showed up later at Via Christi St. Francis with a depressed skull fracture. The man told police at the hospital that he had been attacked by five men, for no apparent reason. Officers determined through questioning that the two reports were related.
No arrest had been made as of noon Sunday. Sgt. Bart Brunsheen says detectives are investigating to try and determine exactly what happened.
