Police Investigate Sexual Assault in North Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. - Police are investigating after a woman reported she was sexually assaulted early Saturday morning in north Wichita.
It happened around 3:20 a.m. near North Santa Fe and East 19th Street.
The 31-year-old woman told police she walking home from her brother's house when she was approached by three men in a Ford pickup, said Wichita Police Sgt. Bruce Watts. The men offered her a ride, which she declined, and the truck drove off. But as she continued walking, she saw the truck turn around and drive toward her. She then diverted onto Santa Fe Street.
After hearing some gravel moving behind her, the next thing the woman remembers is waking up by the railroad tracks at 19th and Santa Fe. Her clothing was torn, and she sustained multiple injuries, Watts said.
     No arrests have been made.
Police are looking for a 90s model regular-cab Ford pickup with a turquoise topper that fades to gray near the bottom.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
