KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City school district is redesigning its website to make it easier for members of the public to ask questions, share ideas and collaborate. The new site will be unveiled April 1.One of the first topics that will be discussed is the possible reintroduction of middle schools. The Kansas City district now has schools that serve students in seventh through 12th grade. Previously, the district tried K-8 schools. Both efforts have their critics, and many teachers want traditional middle schools back.
The district says the superintendent and school leaders will use information gleaned from the website to make better informed decisions.
