WICHITA - The Sedgwick County Sheriff's office says it is adding a third day to accept and process concealed carry gun applications. The agency says it will now add Wednesday to the normal processing days of Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hours for processing the applications are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The sheriff says the change was made to better accommodate the public beginning on Feb. 27.
I was convicted of a DWI in '02 and cannot own a firearm! WTH? I didn't hurt ANYONE and I can't go hunting or protect myself, makes no sense. Aren't they jumping to conclusions? Admittedly I didn't have the sense not to drive drunk so that means I can't handle the responsibility for owning a gun? Nanny Ks. will be my Mommy?
