(LONDON) -- James Deen, the porn actor who co-stars in Lindsay Lohan’s new movie, The Canyons, says the troubled actress was a real diva on the set.
Deen tells The Sun, “There were days when she would scream and yell and cry and refuse to come out.”
He adds, “In porn, I am used to working with professionals who are courteous to others. But Lindsey was like a child lashing out.”
The low budget sexual thriller has been billed as Lohan's other "comeback" project -- after the critically panned Liz & Dick.
During the course of shooting, Lohan was reportedly fired and then re-hired by director Paul Schrader, and was allegedly reluctant to film a four-way sex scene with three porn stars. When the time came to shoot the scene, she allegedly hid herself in a closet.
Deen confirms the story to The Sun, saying, “We were standing around naked and the next thing Lindsay was screaming, ‘Put your clothes on. For the love of God put your clothes on.'”
When she finally returned to the set, Deen says the scene was filmed in one take in “just 14 minutes.”
On another occasion, Deen recalls Lohan got mad when Schrader asked her to take her shoes off.
“I’m a short guy and it looked ridiculous with her towering over me in seven-inch heels,” Deen explains.
According to Deen, Lohan refused to remove her shoes and screamed that she was the star of the film. She calmed down after Deen put on boots to make him appear taller.
Still, Deen says he doesn’t blame Lohan for her behavior. He says she’s a product of the Hollywood system, adding, “She’s so fragile you can’t help but feel for her.”
The Canyons doesn't have a release date yet.
