WICHITA, Kan. - Former Kansas Congressman, Todd Tiahrt, who’s been doing consulting work from Wichita, appears to have a new job. According to a report Tuesday, from the Colorado Springs Business Journal, Tiahrt has been hired as the CEO of Neumann Systems Group. The Colorado Springs-based company designs and builds what Tiahrt describes in the article as “green coal technology” — emissions control systems for power plants and other industrial facilities. The article says the relationship between Tiahrt and Neumann Systems began when Tiahrt did some consulting work for the business.
Tiahrt has been running Todd Tiahrt LLC out of Wichita. The consulting firm specializes in aviation, defense, energy and government relations. The firm’s website lists Neumann as a client.
