WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita Police say a man is now in stable condition after he was shot in east Wichita.
     It happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the 800 block of S. Pershing. Lt. Sam Hanley said the man had gone outside of the house to retrieve some property and when he returned, he had a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
     He was taken to the hospital by EMS, originally in critical condition, but is now expected to be okay. Police are working to locate up to 4 possible suspects.
