EMPORIA, Kan. - An Emporia man was critically injured in a rollover crash Saturday night on the city’s east side.
     It happened around 9:30 p.m. on I-35 just west of Burlingame Road.
     The Kansas Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Christopher Mejia was driving southbound on the interstate when his car veered toward the center median, struck a guardrail and overturned.
     Mejia was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Reports state he was not wearing a seatbelt.
     No one else was in the vehicle. The accident is under investigation
