Felon Accused of Firing Shotgun at House in West Wichita
WICHITA, Kan. - A convicted felon is facing multiple charges in connection with shots fired in west Wichita Friday night.
A witness called 9-1-1 around 7 0'clock to report seeing a man firing a shotgun at a house in the 22-hundred block of west 2nd street.
Police Sgt Bruce Watts says four people, ages 7 to 30 years old, were in the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.
Officers later arrested a 57-year old man at a house in the 400-block of North Athenian. After questioning he was booked into jail charged with criminal possession of a firearm by a felon, discharging a firearm at an occupied dwelling, criminal threats, domestic violence and possession of marijuana.
