WICHITA, Kan.  -  A pedestrian who was hit by a car in downtown Wichita Tuesday evening has died.  It happened around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of 2nd and North Broadway.
     Authorities on scene said the elderly man was not using the crosswalk to cross the street and was hit by a passing car that was going about 30 miles-per-hour.
     He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died around 7:00 p.m.  His name has not been released.
