WICHITA, Kan. - A mobile home in south Wichita was damaged in a fire Saturday night.
Crews were called to the fire in the 2600 block of South Hydraulic just before 11 p.m.
Battalion Chief Tom Carney said smoke and flames were seen emanating from the trailer when firefighters arrived. A small fire was located inside and quickly brought under control.
No one was inside the home at the time of the fire, Carney said. Two dogs were seen running from the trailer and have not been located.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and a damage estimate has yet to be determined.
