WICHITA - Police have arrested four men after 42-year-old Shawn Rhone was shot and killed on Wednesday evening in northeast Wichita.
Three of the suspects are siblings: 21-year-old Milo Brown, 20-year-old Shawn Brown, and 18-year-old Jerome Brown. The other arrestee is 19-year-old Myron Peters.
Police believe the victim was in the area to sell marijuana, when the suspects tried to rob him in front of a vacant house; two suspects confronted the victim, and the other two remained in a car. When the victim tried to drive away, he was shot twice.
Police made three arrests on Thursday afternoon in the 1400 block of N. Glendale, and the fourth suspect turned himself in.
All four suspects face murder charges. Milo Brown also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon. Peters was wanted on a Sedgwick County warrant, and also faces a grand larceny purse-snatching charge from last year.
