Just after 3:30 firefighters were dispatched to the 15 hundred block of west Maple, just west Seneca.
Smoke and Flames were seen at the rear of the two story house on arrival and additional crews were called in. The fire inside had spread to both floors.
Traffic was blocked off completely on Maple between Elizabeth and Millwood up until just a few minutes before 5. Minimal crews remained on the scene into the evening to ensure the fire did not spark back up.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Damage estimates are pending.
