WICHITA, Kan. - The Sedgwick County Commission has agreed to reduce the number of meetings it holds each month. The change will allow the county to save money on its contract to broadcast the meetings on public television station KPTS.
County Communications Director Kristi Zukovich told commissioners at today's meeting that even without meeting on the last Wednesday of each month they could still address "all the agenda items that we normally would" by packaging them into the other meetings during the month.
The change in schedule begins in January.
