Two Questioned in Shooting of Butler College Student
EL DORADO, Kan. - El Dorado Police have questioned at least two men in an early morning shooting that left a student injured near the Butler Community College Campus. At around noon Friday, police officers took a man, 23, into custody at a home in Wichita. He has since been questioned and released.
Another man, 21, from El Dorado turned himself in for questioning late Friday morning. At least a dozen people were in the the immediate area when shots were fired, with several rounds hitting buildings and parked cars at the Villas at Butler Community College.
Both men were identified by several witnesses as being at the apartments when the shooting happened. Those apartments primarily house Butler students.
The Butler student, 18, from Arkansas who was shot, was treated and released.
