HUTCHINSON, Kan. - An elderly man has died, one day after he was hit by a vehicle while walking across the street. It happened just before 4 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Avenue A and North Poplar in Hutchinson.
Police say Neil Kralicek, 73, was in the crosswalk when he was struck. He was taken by helicopter to a Wichita hospital in critical condition. He died from his injuries Monday. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.The accident is under investigation. Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call the Hutchinson Police Department at 620-694-2816
