WICHITA, Kan. - A man was critically injured in a traffic accident on K-96 early this (Friday) afternoon.
     Shortly before 12:30 pm emergency crews responded to the report of a vehicle had  rolled over near the 13th Street exit on Eastbound K-96.
     The highway patrol says the vehicle was in the left lane, entered the median and went back onto the highway before leaving the roadway to the right and down into the embankment.
     The 25 year old driver was trapped in the van and had to be extracted. He was taken to Wesley medical center in critical condition.
     The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
