WICHITA, Kan. - Bombardier Learjet and the Machinists Union have reached a tentative contract agreement that could end a month-long strike.
Union Spokesman Bob Wood said Thursday evening that federal mediators worked with the company and the union to reach the tentative agreement.Members will get their first look at the proposal Friday, Wood said, and a vote will be held at the International Association of Machinists district headquarters, 3830 S. Meridian, from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
Union members have been on strike since Oct. 8.
