On arrival police discovered one person pinned in the vehicle and called for fire and rescue crews and EMS. It took a little over 30 minutes for crews to free the victim from the wreckage.
Apparently the driver of the SUV fled the scene. A 19 year old male passensger was transported to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition with multiple injuries. He is now listed in fair condition.
The investigation into the accident and a search for the driver continues. It is not known if the driver was injured.
Traffic onto the Oliver exit from westbound Kellogg was shutdown for about 3 hours.
