DA Warns of Potentially Dangerous Email

WICHTIA, Kan.  -  A new warning was issued Wednesday by District Attorney Nola Foulston concerning a potentially dangerous email.  The email appears to be from Delta Airlines reading, "Dear Customer, your bought ticket is attached to the letter as a scan document.  To use your ticket you should print it."  Clicking the link could expose your computer to a virus or malware, and it is recommended that the email be deleted.
Delta has posted on their website that those emails were not sent by the airline.  They recommend that if anyone has received this email, to immediately change their SkyMiles PIN and check their account for any unusual behavior or misuse.
For additional information on these types of crimes and tips to protect yourself, contact the Consumer Fraud and Economic Crimes Division of the District Attorney’s Office at 660-3653 or CLICK HERE to be directed to the District Attorney’s website.
