HAYS, Kan. - A Hays restaurant has extensive damage following a fire Tuesday morning. According to the Hays Fire Department, the initial call came out at 8:45 a.m. for a fire at T-Bones Sports Bar and Grill at 113 Centennial Center.
When crews arrived, they found smoke and fire visible from outside the restaurant. It took firefighters approximately two and a half hours to get the fire under control.One firefighter was hurt when he was scalded by hot water, but refused medical treatment. Investigators and the fire marshal are still at the scene working to determine a cause and damage estimate.
