WICHITA, Kan. - Hundreds gathered Tuesday morning for the annual ceremony at Wichita State to remember those lost in a plane crash 42 years ago. Thirty-one WSU football players, administrators and supporters were killed on October 2, 1970 when their plane went down in the Rocky Mountains near Silver, Plume Colorado. The plane had been en route to Logan, Utah for a game against Utah State University.
