Police say a Sixty-one year old man was driving in the 27-hundred block of West Orient Boulevard around 11:40 a.m.Monday when an argument heated up and the 17 year old pulled a knife and stabbed his father in the right side of the chest.
The man was able to pull over and another passenger called 9-1-1.
The son was taken into custody and booked for aggravated battery.
The father was taken to Via Christi, on St Francis Street, where his wound was treated and he was held for observation due to other health issues.
