FCC Investigates Pirate Radio Station in Manhattan



     MANHATTAN, Kan.  -  Federal officials are investigating a pirate radio station in Manhattan.  Ron Ramage, district director of the FFC office in Kansas City, said investigators were in Manhattan Thursday to investigate the station after receiving complaints from citizens.  The station was operating under the 88.3 frequency on the FM dial.
     The station was reported to be broadcasting an anti-government program, with mention of alleged national and global conspiracies.   The investigation is ongoing.
