MCPHERSON, Kan. - McPherson Police have arrested a second person in connection to the death of Tabor College student Brandon Brown. Police arrested Dequinte Flournoy, 19, of Dallas, Texas, who was also a member of the 2011 McPherson College football team.
Flournoy was arrested on a charge of aiding and abetting second degree murder. Earlier this week, police arrested Alton Franklin, 19, on the same charge. Franklin has since been officially charged. Brown was found unresponsive following a disturbance in the early morning hours of September 16. He died a few days later at a Wichita hospital.
McPherson police officers are still investigating the circumstances surrounding Brown's death, and again ask anyone who may have information to call them at (620) 245-1200 or Crime Stoppers of McPherson County at (620) 241-1122.
