The Driver ... 18-year-old Cory Rutschman of Newton ... lost control of the truck and it slid down an embankment, into Blaze Fork Creek. 39-year-old Beverly Rutschman ... the driver's mother ... was partially ejected from the truck and was trapped under water. She was pronounced dead at Hutchinson Hospital. Cory Rutschman is in stable condition at Via Christi St. Francis. 18-year-old Spencer Fast of Moundridge is in stable condition. 19-year-old Chad Janzen of Hesston is in critical condition.
