GARDNER, Kan. - Authorities say a train has hit a man in Johnson County.
The sheriff's office said in a news release that the man was taken to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. He was struck around 3 a.m. near New Century Airport in the southern part of the county.
Detectives with the sheriff's office will be assisting the Burlington Northern Railroad Police with the investigation.
