Man Injured in Accident West Of Hutchinson



     HUTCHINSON, Kan.  -  A Reno County man has been flown to a Wichita hospital after an accident west of Hutchinson.  It happened in the 8600 block of W. 4th around 12:30 p.m. Friday.
     The Reno County Sheriff's department said Marvin Farney, 75, was driving east when his vehicle went off the road and hit a concrete culvert.  Farney was pinned in his vehicle after the accident. He was flown to Wichita to be treated for a broken hip and internal injuries.
     Authorities said Farney was wearing a seat belt.  The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
