LAWRENCE, Kan. - Some students at two Kansas universities want Chick-fil-A removed from the campuses because of the fast-food chain's stance on gay marriage. Online petitions began at Wichita State University and the University of Kansas after Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy said he opposed gay marriage. Some groups are boycotting Chick-fil-A, while others are supporting the fast-food chain. The petition at Wichita State had about 530 signatures early Friday. The Kansas petition had nearly 1,800 signatures. Another petition to keep Chick-fil-A at Kansas had about 560 signatures.
Wichita State officials say if they hear of anyone being refused service at Chick-fil-A because of sexual orientation, the school would address the situation. The Wichita Eagle reports Kansas officials say they are discussing the issue with people on campus and off.
Basically the progressives in Lawrence are saying: Free Speech for all, UNLESS it's counter to my beliefs. Sad, truly sad.

Freedom of Speech?
The homosexuals believe in free speech...as long as they approve of it. Seriously. With all the job losses in these tough times. You'd think they would want anyone to bring jobs and business $$ to town. To use a clinical word: It's NUTS!!

Intolerance
We cannot and will not tolerate intolerance.

Yawn....
Guess I'll munch a Chick-Fil-A sandwhich as I mull over what to do for entertainment the next time WSU or KU has a game on the TV or radio.

So much for tolerance
"because of the fast-food chain's stance on gay marriage." Really? The COMPANY has a stance? What lousy reporting. The President of the company has an opinion, and has a right to have that opinion. These aren't "liberal" people opposing Chick-fil-a, a real liberal would allow you to have a different opinion. These are leftist guerillas!
