WICHITA, Kan.  -  Wichita authorities say a woman has survived a fall from a fifth-story window at Wichita State University after landing on a first-floor awning.
     The accident happened shortly after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Wheat Shocker Apartments on the campus of Wichita State University.  Emergency crews arrived and found the woman suffering from potentially serious injuries and transported her to an area hospital.
     Dispatchers said police at Wichita State are investigating the cause of the fall.
