WICHITA, Kan.  -  The annual Wichita Toy Run will be a Toy Rally in 2012 because of accidents on the route.  There were two accidents with four serious injuries at the toy run in 2011.  More than 3,000 motorcyclists ride every year from Delano to the Kansas Coliseum to deliver the toys.
     This year, participants will be gathering in the Delano district for a rally instead to keep everyone safe. "We feel this is the best way to avoid incidents, accidents and injury to Toy Run participants as well as maintaining the safety of the public," said committee volunteer Terisa Olson in a statement.
    The rally will be held on Douglas in the Delano District on November 4, 2012.
