WICHITA - Police are investigating a fatal shooting in north Wichita. Around 1:20 Monday morning dispatchers received a call from a pay phone in the 13-hundred block of North Grove reporting a kidnapping. Police went to an apartment in the 900 block of North Broadway, where they found a person with a gun shot wound to the head. A 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, just before two a-m. Police are calling the shooting "suspicious."
