WICHITA, Kan. -- A blown transformer caused power outages for approximately 950 Westar customers Wednesday evening.  Crews responded to a pole on fire in the 2400 block of S. Yellowstone Street at around 8:00 p.m.
     Reports of outages came in from Kellogg to Pawnee, along Maize Road.
