People who lift weights shloud not work on the same muscle groups every day because it interferes with recovery. This rule does not matter as much when you are not trying to achieve bulk muscles. If you notice ones who do push ups and do fast and more repetitions with less weight than weight lifters who do slower and less repetitions with more weight; they look thinner and muscles are cut more. They build less muscle mass and are going for the cut defined look instead. They can exercise same muscle groups daily (although they even switch it up or rest every 3rd day) because they are not trying to build muscle bulk. If you want muscle bulk, like weight lifters are going for; you need to use heavier weights with less repetition; and give those muscle groups about a 48 hours break before going back to those muscle groups. Many weight lifters do upper body one days and then legs the next, alternating back and forth in that manner.
