Paul McCartney live in concert coming to Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KNSS) - Intrust Bank Arena announced Tuesday morning that Paul McCartney will visit Wichita in July. 

Arena officials made the announcement at Union Station Plaza on East Douglas. Paul McCartney's show will be Wednesday, July 19th. Tickets go on sale Monday, May 1. (CLICK HERE FOR MORE TICKET INFORMATION)

Sir Paul McCartney will turn 75 years old in June; he has performed before multiple times in Tulsa and Kansas City, but this will mark his first concert in Wichita.

McCartney will be the second member of the legendary rock & roll group The Beatles to appear recently in the Wichita area; Ringo Starr performed a concert last summer at Hartman Arena.

The Wichita stop is part of McCartney's ongoing One On One Tour, which is currently in Japan.
