Kroger is transitioning ownership of most of their convenience stores, including Kwik Shop, Loaf ‘N Jug, Quik Stop Markets, Turkey Hill and Tom Thumb.

Customers will still be able to earn fuel points at Dillons and redeem them for up to $1 per gallong at Kwik Shops and Dillons gas stations, but they will no longer earn Dillons points when they shop at Kwik Shop.

The company says you can't earn them by shopping at the convenience stores. There are only two exceptions to this: stores in Greensburg and in Newton. Those stores aren't being sold.

Dillon's parent company announced in February it would be selling most of it's convenience stores.
