KBI: Kansas teen wounded after shooting at law enforcement

COUNCIL GROVE, Kan. — Authorities say teenager was shot and wounded after shooting at law enforcement officers.
The Wichita Eagle reports that police officers and Morris County Sheriff's Deputies were shot at when they were called to investigate a shots fired call in Council Grove. A police officer returned fire, striking the shooter.
A spokesman for the Kansas Bureu of Investigation, (KBI), said the suspect, 17, was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported. The KBI is handling the investigation.
