USD 259 Security Supervisor in Jail, Accused of Indecent Liberties with Child
WICHITA, Kan. - A USD 259 security supervisor and former Wichita Police Department Sergeant is in jail, accused of indecent liberties with a child and criminal sodomy.
According to Sedgwick County Jail records, 50-year-old Alex Robinson was booked into the jail early Saturday morning on suspicion of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and aggravated criminal sodomy. He was being held on a $250,000 bond, records say.
School district spokeswoman Susan Arensman told KAKE News Robinson has been placed on administrative leave.
Robinson was a contributor to a U.S. Department of Justice manual on community policing. The Wichita Police Department has not commented on the arrest, nor has it released any details of the allegations against Robinson.
